Nov. 1-25, 2016.

The goal of  “No-Shave November” is to grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow will and free.  Donate the money you typically spend on shaving and grooming to educate about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle.

The rules of the contest are as follows: 1. On Oct. 31, shave your entire face as cleanly as possible.  No stubble, no “pre-existing” facial hair.  Shave completely. 2.  Take a “before” picture and bring the picture along for the judges at the end of the contest. 3.  Do not shave or trim for the entire month.  No trimming your neck, no shaving your mustache, no shaping your beard.

The contest for best beard will be judged during the Steel Union concert at 7:30 pm in the Linton High School Gymnasium which will conclude the Chamber’s 20th Annual Lught Up the Night celebration on Friday, Nov. 25.

No pre-registration needed but  must have a  picture showing how their faces appeared on Nov. 1.  Winners will be awarded Chamber Bucks.  For more information, contact Jodi Hulm at 701-254-5359.
