FEBRUARY 20, 2018 APPROVED CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Tim Volk on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 5:00 pm. Upon roll call, the following council members were present: Shelly Hauge, Randy Meidinger, Dennis Morris, Linda Schumacher-Kelsch. Absent: James Gartner, Dan Imdieke. Also present: City Foreman Bob Job, City Administrator Sharon Jangula.

The bid tabulation for the Sanitary Sewer System Improvement project was reviewed. The bid opening was held on February 12, 2018 at 1:00 pm and a total of seven bids were opened. After discussion, and based on concurrence of USDA Rural Development, a motion to award the construction contract to KPH, Inc. for their total base bid of $1,715,205 was made by Linda Schumacher-Kelsch and seconded by Dennis Morris. Unanimous aye vote; motion carried. KPH, Inc. submitted the lowest bid.

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Shelly Hauge and seconded by Randy Meidinger. Meeting adjourned.
