APPROVED MARCH 11, 2020 CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES

A quorum of the Linton City Council was present to attend the LIDC Board of Directors Meeting on March 11, 2020 at 6:00 pm in the Emmons County Commissioner’s Room. Mayor Daniel Imdieke and the following council members were present: Jon Ptacek, Randall Meidinger, Wayne Ehley, Dennis Morris, Linda Schumacher-Kelsch. Also present: City Administrator Sharon Jangula.

A video conference was held with Zachary Mannheimer, Alchemy Community Transformations. Mr. Mannheimer did a presentation on creative placemaking. Question and answers followed along with discussion.

AJ Tuck, Ulteig Engineering, presented a preliminary plat map and estimated costs to develop land currently owned by the LIDC on the east side of Linton. The land would be developed for residential properties. There was discussion on developing the property and Mr. Tuck informed the group that an infrastructure loan through the Bank of North Dakota had a deadline application of March 12th.

It was determined through general consensus that there would be a special City Council Meeting at City Hall the next day, March 12 at 12:00 pm to discuss the development of the property.

Mayor Imdieke and Council Members Ptacek, Meidinger and Ehley left the LIDC meeting at this time.
