City of Linton is accepting applications for a Public Works Regular Part-Time Employee.

Duties include street maintenance, city property maintenance and garbage collection.

Approximately 24-32 hours per week. Salary DOE. Benefits available.

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 22 – EAST OF BROADWAY ST (MAIN ST) AND 1ST STREET TO 8TH STREET

Residents must place items for collection on the curb by 7 a.m.
The city crew will pick up items that two people can lift. EVERYTHING MUST BE BUNDLED, TIED OR BOXED.
ITEMS ACCEPTED: Furniture, mattresses, TVs, electronic items, small metal items, large plastic items, bikes, water heaters, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, dryers.
ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED: Tires, used oil, batteries, paint, liquids of any type, pesticides, chemicals, chemical barrels, freon containing appliances unless freon has been removed and tagged by a certified refrigerant removal company.
